Athletic Republic's Event Management System is an outgrowth of the athlete assessment programs offered in our training centers. The system allows our trainers to evaluate each athlete's capabilities before prescribing a training program. Athletic Republic's Event Management System is the first to manage a football combine's high athlete volume with a consistent and reliable gold-standard. Electronic timing synchronized with digital video validates performance results and incorporates a multi-media report for coaching feedback and video distribution.
To meet the time constraints and large numbers of participants, Athletic Republic’s Event Management System utilizes a Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) band worn by each athlete to automatic registration and identification at each testing station. The athletes simply "scan in" and run the test—the times and corresponding video are captured on both digital video and handheld PDA to ensure against data loss. Each of the athletes’ results are embedded in the video footage captured in real time. Once the athlete has completed their test, they can walk over to the testing station to see a replay with their results and get pointers from experienced performance coaches—immediate feedback they may transfer to their next effort. Then each clip is made accessible in an athlete's private online Locker Room, a digital database hosted by Athletic Republic.
Athletic Republic's Combine Management System debuted at the 2009 U.S. Army National Combine, featuring 500 of the nation's top underclassmen participating in football skills and one-on-one drills. The system was enhanced for the 2010 National Combine held January 8, 2010 in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio as part of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
